Spread by clothing or personal items such as combs, towels, brushes are rare.Personal hygenes and cleanliness is not related to getting head lice.

For women between the ages of 16-34, we can prescribe combination birth control pills for 3 months at a time. We can also prescribe extended cycle birth control.
We do not prescribe the vaginal rings, or the birth control patches because those two methods are associated with a much greater risk of blood clots than the birth control pills we can prescribe.
