Athlete's Foot is a skin fungal infection usually starting between the toes. However, other area of the feet can be affected.

Head lice is a parasitic insect that is usually found in the head. It lives near the scalp to feed on blood several times a day.
Head lice is very common among school age children and adults in the same house hold. Head lice is spread by direct contact. Head to head contact carries the greatest risk. Spread by clothing or personal items such as combs, towels, brushes are rare.Personal hygenes and cleanliness is not related to getting head lice.

Shingles is a painful rash that appears in a band on one side of your body. This rash is caused by the chickenpox virus (varicella-zoster.) After getting the initial episode of chickenpox, the virus lays dormant in your nerve root. It gets reactivated during periods of stress: physical or emotional.
Triggers for shingles include:
- Physical Stress: Illness, lack of sleep.
- Emotional Stress
- Weakened immune system
Shingles typically begin with burning, numbness in the area that will be affected before any rash appears. Best resulted is obtained with early treatment. Go to the hospital right away if you have shingles in the eye.

For women between the ages of 16-34, we can prescribe combination birth control pills for 3 months at a time. We can also prescribe extended cycle birth control.
We do not prescribe the vaginal rings, or the birth control patches because those two methods are associated with a much greater risk of blood clots than the birth control pills we can prescribe.
